Frequently asked questions and how to get help.
Select a profile, tap the scan button (+), then choose Camera, Photo Library, or Import File. The app will extract all relevant data from the invoice automatically. You can review and correct the results before saving.
Some invoices have unusual formatting that makes extraction harder. You can manually correct any field in the review screen. With self-learning enabled, the app remembers your corrections and applies them to future scans from the same creditor.
When enabled in Settings, the app stores creditor information (name, IBAN, identifier patterns) from bills you save. Next time you scan a bill from the same creditor, these details are automatically filled in. You can export and import this learned data to preserve it across reinstalls.
Apple Intelligence processes invoices on your device using OCR and pattern matching. It works offline and is the default. Claude uses Anthropic's vision API to analyse the entire invoice image, which is typically more accurate for complex layouts. Claude requires an internet connection and an API key from console.anthropic.com.
When a bill has a valid IBAN and amount, the app generates a European Payment Council (EPC) QR code. You can scan this code with your banking app to initiate a payment with all details pre-filled. Tap the QR code in the bill detail view to enlarge or share it.
Go to Settings > Manage Profiles to create, edit, or delete profiles. Each profile has its own bills, notifications, and creditor mappings. The app automatically suggests which profile a bill belongs to based on previous assignments.
Go to Settings > Backup > Create Backup. This generates a ZIP file containing all profiles, bills, original documents, and learned creditor data. Save this file to iCloud Drive, email it, or AirDrop it. To restore, tap Restore Backup and select the ZIP file.
